About ERC Systems

ERC Systems was created out of a vision for a searchable online database of local talent for every city.  The public web site www.ERCRegistry.com (as ERCregistry.com) went live in 2004 catering to local musicians, dancers, bands, public speakers, singers – all types of performing artists and entertainers. In 2005, www.BookFilmCrew.com was launched to fill a need for a similar directory
searchable on a local level for the film industry.  

During ERC’s second year, Carol Van Bruggen, CEO of the Entertainment Resource Center and its family of sites, was approached by an arts agency serving a local community to create a registry specifically for their region and population. Thus, ERC Systems was born. We realized that in this “day of the internet,” there must be an easier way for arts, film and business agencies to install a self-enrolling, searchable directory to their web sites, and have the assistance needed to maintain and continually upgrade at a very reasonable cost.

The mission of ERC Systems is to help promote the arts and make it possible for local and educational communities to “find the talent among us.”
