Bio: Carol Van Bruggen, CEO of ERC Systems
Professional Speaker
Author/Financial Consultant Marketing
Technology Consultant
As a certified financial planner, Carol has assisted business and individuals in making wise choices about their money for over 20 years. An avid supporter of the performing and visual arts, she has assisted artists and arts organizations to promote themselves in their communities and to develop tools to generate revenue.
In 2003 Carol created a searchable database of performing and visual artists and realized the need for effective tools for performing and visual artists to market themselves and remain visible to the communities and educational institutions that need them. With a non-tech background she developed a highly technical tool that could be used easily by those looking for talented individuals and groups within their community and began to share it with arts and business agencies nationwide.
Carol is a co-author of several popular books including the Business Owner’s Retirement Plan Survival Guide and the Survival Guide for Heirs, and is a participating author in Technology Made Simple. She is a partner in the respected financial services firm of Foord, Van Bruggen, Ebersole and Pajak, and is the CEO of ERC Systems.
A familiar voice in the media, Carol’s financial advice has appeared in special financial sections of numerous newspapers. She has been featured on several radio stations as a business reporter, talk show host and a guest. She has also appeared on numerous television specials and reports. She uses a state-of-the-art computer presentation to captivate her audience and make this complex area understandable while addressing current trends in the financial, marketing and technology fields.
Carol is available for speaking engagements to help arts organizations
